Water, sandy banks, and wooded hills in Alpha Continued.

Alpha Continued asks what Minecraft might have become if development had stayed with Alpha.

It builds on 1.2.6, retaining its terrain generation, survival difficulty, and recipes. Water ladders and minecart boosters still work.

The ARG

The old-style website tells a fictional development history through Fooloid, its invented developer. The project is made by The_Confounder.

Launcher & downloads

Public downloads are coming soon. The release will contain patches and installation tools; you must own Minecraft to play. A Windows launcher is in development, with version selection and automatic updates planned.

Minecraft API approval is pending. Sign-in uses Microsoft in your browser to check ownership and retrieve your player profile; your password is never entered into the launcher.

Privacy

The current launcher keeps login tokens in memory and saves settings, game files, worlds, and logs on your computer. Microsoft and download providers receive requests when you use their services.

This site has no added analytics, ads, or account forms. Its hosting provider may process request information.
